Fun pictures from our summer . . .

The Jones' Family Reunion
Brigham City, Utah
June 2009
Telling stories and taking pictures at grandma and grandpa's grave site. . .
What reunion is complete without huge subs and yummy foods!?

Cutie Pie Sammy!

All lined up for Uncle Lyle's FANTASTIC dutch oven entrees!

Uncle Wayne busted out the ge-tar and plucked away to everyone's delight!
By the end of the reunion, Hayley had cemented her favorite "cousin" relationship with my girls.
She's still their favorite babysitter! We shared a room with Adam and Jen = Four adults, FIVE toddlers
Very exciting, especially at bath time

Some silly, random fun . . .

Swimmin' in St. George . . .

Haha!!! I love these pictures ...

Hayley and her roommates walking my girls' down to the park on the 4th of July
Cutie Pie Sarah Jane
Wheeler Farm
(hopefully the local of our Hydrocephalus WALK and 5K in 2010)

Shortly after the shot taken above, Katie's right arm got twisted or pulled wrong. She wouldn't use her arm. It hurt in almost any position but we knew it wasn't broken. The picture below shows her emotional state the rest of the farm outing until, hours later, we finally took her to the doctor where we learned all about nursemaid's elbow. Poor thing. We just have to remember not to pull her by the hand/arm EVER. Her elbow locks out of joint very easily! It's a quick procedure to pop it back into place and she's perfectly great and running around about 30 seconds after it's done, but it costs $20 for a co-pay and endless whining and crying until it's taken care of. Playing on the most fantastic deck ever!
Posing with Grammy and Grandpa Christensen . . .
JR and Tamara and Miles and Jill were in town with their families this weekend. So fun!

Camping in the drizzle/rain Varga style . . .

Ample amounts of white gas kept our rain-threatened fire alight.
Eco-friendly, perhaps not, but it cooked our dinner and kept us from driving down the mountain to McDonald's.

Yummers, Katie Lynne!

Hide 'n Go Seek
Katie Lynne and Sarah Jane LOVE to play this game, although they hide in the same spot every time. It's fun counting practice for Katie and Sarah loves that her little sister is finally old enough to play pretty well with her.

The girls' favorite game . . . hide

You had such a fun summer! Does Glen get the whole summer off? I don't know how Utah school districts are.

my favorite is when i'm counting and sarah jane is hiding (and i usually have an idea where she is) but i pretend not to know, then katie lynne runs right to where sarah is. its great!
